Should You Go Direct to Book Disneyland Paris?
One of the questions I get asked all the time is “should I book Disneyland Paris direct or through a travel agent?”
There’s a lot of noise out there when you first start planning a trip to the parks about who you should give your money to. Back in the day, our parents would’ve just headed to the local travel agent and been done with it. But now, we have more options than we know what to do with–and unless your sister’s, cousins, best friend’s aunt has been recently, you might feel clueless with who to pick.
After 13 trips to the parks, I have booked every which way you can imagine, but still champion booking direct when most people ask my advice. Booking directly with Disneyland Paris is one of the easiest and most secure ways to plan your holiday.
Here’s exactly why I recommend it:
Exclusive Offers and Perks
You can sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on your trip! Secure early access to reserved fireworks viewing areas and add character dining to your booking, even before reservations open on the app. These magical perks help take the stress out of planning, letting you focus on enjoying the magic.
Flexible Payment Plans
Don’t want to pay all at once? No problem. Disneyland Paris offers flexible payment options where you can spread out the cost up to 60 days before you travel (even less for EU residents). It’s perfect for families who want to plan ahead without a hefty upfront cost
Simplified Packages
Disneyland Paris bundles everything from your hotel to park tickets and extras like meal plans into one neat package. It makes things simpler and stress-free—because who wants to juggle multiple bookings when you can get it all in one go?
Price Guarantee & Unbeatable Cancellation Policy
Find your trip cheaper within 7 days of parting with your cash? Disneyland Paris will match it and more. Plus, you can get a full refund for your hotel and tickets package up to 7 days before travel. So if anything unexpected crops up, you’re covered!
✨ Pixie Tip
Booking directly also means you can grab those hard-to-get reservations like fireworks viewing areas and character dining experiences before other guests. Plus, children under 3 stay free, which makes it a win for families with little ones!

Best Time to Book Disneyland Paris Packages
You might be asking “When should you book to get the best deal?”
We all know that experiencing the magic of Disneyland Paris costs hard earned money. And timing is everything when it comes to making sure you get the most bang for your buck when you book Disneyland Paris. While there is definitely no “wrong” time–because getting to the parks is the goal right?–there are some tricks and that will give you either the best price, or a longer trip for the same value.
Here’s how you can save a little magic (and money):
Early Booking Wins: Disneyland Paris usually opens up bookings at t he end of the summer for the following year’s April to March period. For example, bookings for April 2026 to March 2027 are expected to open at the end of August 2025. Locking in your trip early means better chances of snagging your favorite hotel and room type before prices rise. Plus, booking early often gets you access to early booking discounts!
Off-Peak Magic: Traveling during off-peak seasons (like mid-January to mid-March or mid-September to early November) can save you a lot. Plus, arriving on a Monday is often 10-20% cheaper than arriving on the weekend, giving you a more affordable and quieter start to your magical holiday.
Last-Minute Surprises: While Disneyland Paris doesn’t usually offer last-minute deals, savvy travellers might find a more luxurious hotel at an affordable rate if the lower-starred hotels are in high demand. Keep an eye out, and you might just upgrade your stay without the extra splurge!
✨ Pixie Tip: Subscribe to the Disneyland Paris newsletter and follow trusted booking sites like Magic Breaks for the latest Disneyland Paris offers.
Understanding Disneyland Paris Packages
When it comes to booking your trip, Disneyland Paris packages offer a complete and hassle-free experience. When you book Disneyland Paris direct, your booking will include a stay in a Disneyland Paris hotel, plus tickets for every day you’re there (not night; an important distinction to make compared to booking separately).
It’s all-in-one and stress-free—just the way we like it. Plus, staying on-site means you can make the most of your park days without rushing.
After choosing your hotel and number of park days, you have the option to include extras such as meal plans or character dining, but focus on the core price first and get that deposit down to secure it.
✨ Pixie Tip: Booking a package gives you access to the Extra Magic Hour, allowing you early access to the parks before everyone else. Trust me, that extra hour makes all the difference for must-do rides!
Hotel-Only Stays
Sometimes, you might prefer to book a hotel-only stay, especially if you’re planning to combine your days at Disneyland Paris with exploring Paris and the other nearby regions. If that’s the case, hotels.com or lastminute.com are great options to find magical deals on Disney Hotels in the parks, and nearby.
Don’t forget—you’ll still need park tickets to enjoy the magic of Disneyland Paris! As tickets aren’t available on the day, it’s vital to buy your tickets before you go, as you won’t be able to purchase at the gates. Be sure to book your tickets online ahead of time so there’s no last-minute stress at the gate. I recommend Go Ticketless for day tickets.

How to Score The Best Disneyland Paris Tickets? Go Ticketless!
Planning a trip to Disneyland Paris should feel magical, right? Real talk—sometimes the ticket-buying process feels more like a stress test than part of the…
Just be aware–staying off-site doesn’t automatically mean you get the best price on your trip. Make sure to compare the cost of your off-site hotel and day tickets to a Disneyland Paris Package before handing over your credit card details.
Perfect for those who want to sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on their trips!
✨ Pixie Tip: Whether you book a full package or just the hotel, staying on-site adds that extra dose of Disney magic with themed hotels and super convenient access to the parks!
Choosing the Right Disneyland Paris Hotel
Disneyland Paris has seven onsite hotels to sprinkle pixie dust over your whole trip. They all provide different experience levels and have different facilities–which means there really is something for everyone and every budget.
But if you’re not sure which hotel is right for your trip, here’s a quick rundown to help you decide:
Ultimate Luxury: The Disneyland Hotel is the ultimate in Disney luxury, and after its grand reopening in January 2024, it’s now fit for royalty—literally! With a stunning royal theme and princesses around every corner, this is the go-to option if you’re looking for a special stay. Plus, guests can book the Royal Makeover Experience, where little ones get transformed into princes or princesses for the day.
Mid-Range Magic: The Hotel Cheyenne is a fantastic mid-range option with a Wild West theme. It’s comfortable, family-friendly, and just a 10-15 minute shuttle ride from the parks. You’ll still enjoy a fun Disney-themed experience, but at a more affordable rate than the higher-end hotels.
Budget-Friendly Charm: For those wanting a bit more space and nature, the Davy Crockett Ranch offers cozy, self-catering cabins in a peaceful, woodland setting. While it’s slightly farther from the parks (you’ll need a car to stay here), it’s ideal for families who want extra room and the flexibility to cook meals. Plus, the outdoor atmosphere adds a unique, relaxing touch to your Disney holiday.
✨ Pixie Tip: Disneyland Paris packages booked direct come with park tickets included for every day of your stay, so you save money compared to booking them separately. It’s one of the best ways to book Disneyland Paris without stress!
Adding Extras
Extras can get overwhelming if you’re looking to book Disneyland Paris for the first time but they’re also where the real magic happens! Disneyland Paris offers plenty of add-ons to make your trip even more special. You don’t need any of them, but they can simplify your trip, meaning you can focus on making memories instead.
Meal Plans
Disneyland Paris has three different meal plan levels—Standard, Plus, and Premium—and all of them let you dine at any restaurant in the parks or resorts. You can select half board or full board depending on your preference, but the big differences per level are:
Standard: Full board includes one quick service and one table/buffet meal per day.
Plus: Full board includes two table/buffet meals per day, plus an extra lunch or dinner on your lastday for extra flexibility.
Premium: Allows you to dine at character dining locations without any top-up fees (unlike standard and plus), perfect for those wanting the ultimate Disney dining experience. Plus an extra lunch or dinner on your last day.
Premier Access
Queuing for some of the popular attractions at Disneyland Paris can eat into your days, but with Premier Access you can skip the lines instead! While you can purchase Premier Access passes individually for specific rides on the day (my preferred option for flexibility), if you’d rather go for the Premier Access Ultimate package, you can add it to your package. The Premier Access Ultimate gives you single access to each ride with premier access on one day of your trip.
Disney Express Service:
If you’re arriving by train at Marne-la-Vallée Chessy–either after taking the Eurostar via Lille, the RER from Paris or nearby, or the TGV for Charles de Gaulle Airport, the Disney Express service allows you to drop off your luggage at the station and have it sent directly to your hotel. No waiting around—just grab your park tickets and dive right into the fun!
Character Dining
Know you want to meet your favourite Disney characters while you dine? Add it too your booking! This is the only additional extra I recommend including when you put down your initial deposit.
Tables are in high demand for all Character dining locations at Disneyland Paris, and reservations are made months–if not years–in advance.
Breakfasts in particular can save you a lot of stress as reservations on the app only open up 3 days ahead. Book breakfast at Plaza Gardens for some Classic Disney Magic or enjoy a royal feast with the Princesses at Auberge de Cendrillon.
✨ Pixie Tip: If you’re not looking to splurge on the Premier Access Ultimate, purchasing individual passes on the day is a great way to save money and still skip the long lines for your top rides!
Book Disneyland Paris Through a Third-Party
Booking direct is great for those who feel confident enough organising the different elements of their trip–or those who want to include dedicated travel days. But there are also a few trusted third-party options that get the Pixie Dust Wanderlust approval. These partners of Disneyland Paris are trusted, reliable, and can help you save money (depending on what you’re looking for):
Magic Breaks
A fantastic choice for UK visitors, Magic Breaks often includes lovely bonuses like free Disney PhotoPasses or extra park days. It’s perfect if you’re looking to add some extra value to your holiday without spending more.
The Walt Disney Travel Company
If you’re driving from the UK, this option often comes with free Eurotunnel transport, which is a great way to save a bit more on your trip.
Go Ticketless
If you’re only after day tickets, Go Ticketless is your go-to for consistently cheaper prices compared to booking directly through Disney or through Attraction Tickets. You’ll still enjoy all the magic, but with a little extra left in your pocket!
✨ Pixie Tip: Always compare prices across trusted sites to make sure you’re getting the best deal. Make sure to check travel times and figure out how much park time is included once you’ve taken that into account. Keep in mind that booking through third parties can sometimes make changes or cancellations trickier than booking direct with Disneyland Paris–so always check those t&cs!
