The DLP TIPS QUEEN
Hi, I’m Sam!
I’m passionate about sharing my Disneyland Paris knowledge with other magic seekers, so they can create core memories that last a lifetime!
Sam Doyle // Founder
I’m almost as old as Disneyland Paris itself, and visiting the parks as a child with my Mum–way back when it was still Euro Disney!
As I grew up, the memories of my childhood trip faded but the feeling of joy and magic lived on, deep within my soul. So when I became a parent, I knew Disneyland Paris© was the top of my to do list!
But for years I’d talk about visiting, dream of dancing down Main Street USA… but never quite get there.
It took the lose of my Mum in 2021 to finally take the leap into the chalk painting–and now after 8 trips I can say I’m a true Disneyland Paris© expert.
My Magical Mission
I’m on a mission to help Disney dreamers plan & prep the trip of a lifetime, that’s simple & stress-free!
Because when you walk in those gates, the real world melts away, and for a little while you get to get lost in the magic of make believe; so why should tear yourself up in knots beforehand?
After thirteen trips, I’ve learned everything there is to know about the Disneyland Paris parks. I’ve rode every ride, meet all the characters, and seen every show multiple times.
Now you have my expertise on your side so you can truly kick back and relax in your beautiful, magical bubble of joy.
TRAVEL HISTORY
the DLP Trips
A Mother’s Love
My eldest child was born when I was 22, and it had been 15 years since I’d last stepped foot inside Disneyland Paris©. I was determined that I would go back before they turned 3, but life doesn’t always go the way we plan, and two more children later, I still hadn’t been able to pin down a date to go.
Circle of Life
Losing my Mum suddenly in 2021 was devastating. After years dreaming of taking her grandchildren back to the parks, the opportunity was gone. So I lived the dream for her, and stayed at Hotel New York–The Art of Marvel in March 2022, enjoying the most spectacular trip! And we loved it so much, we became Infinity pass holders !
Drip Drip Drop, Little April Showers
In April 2022, we were back in the parks–this time as a family. We spent the week at Davy Crockett Ranch which was the perfect balance of peace to the wild excitement of Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios.
Sisters and Brothers
May 2022 saw a 3 day trip with my siblings–a whole different ball game to travelling with 3 under 9’s! Instead of Tea Cups and Snow White, we spent the weekend riding Hyper Space Mountain, Crushes Coaster and Big Thunder Mountain!
Son of man
After taking my eldest on a ‘solo’ trip, it was the turn of my middle child. Allowing each of the kids their own visit seemed like the fairest option; this time we stayed at Sequoia Lodge and enjoyed the rustic ambiance of the hotel. We danced with Baloo & King Louis, and waved to Princesses on Main Street as we dined at Walts. It was an incredible trip!
This is halloween
Who doesn’t love a party? And a halloween one at that! I headed over to Disneyland Paris© solo in October to enjoy the spooky season and party til the early hours with ghosts & ghouls – it was also at this point I created Pixie Dust Wanderlust, and set up my TikTok account! Yay!
On my way
After the success of my October solo trip, I couldn’t resist heading back in January! While it was definitely cold, it was also one of my favourite trips as I had lunch at Auberge de Cendrillion, and met Cinderellas Mice who are very close to my heart! After my trip, I TikTok’d a quick breakdown of what I got up to–and suddenly had 10 thousand new Disney friends!
April Again?!
A budget friendly fix, we packed up the car and headed back to stay offsite near to the parks! My first trip with my priority pass and wow what a game changer! We met 15 characters and did all the rides multiple times.
A Dream is a wish your heart makes
The trip I’d been waiting all year for, and finally the turn of my youngest for her solo trip! Princess week was spectacular, both in events, adventures and heat! It was so hot and we were incredibly thankful for the fan in Santa Fe!
three annual passholders walk into a whatsapp group…
To celebrate the end of the 30th Anniversary at Disneyland Paris, I headed over to the parks with two passholder friends. 20 hours of travelling and 40 hours without sleep later, we said goodbye to the celebrations after a fantastic 18 months. We hung around for the start of Halloween too and got to see villains taking over the park!
It’s beginning to Look a lot like Christmas
COMING SOON – For the first time, I’ll be visiting the parks during Christmas season and staying at Newport Bay Hotel which ticks off all the onsite hotels currently available to stay at!
