While shuttle services may not be available for many or them, an RER train station or local bus stop can normally be found not to far away.
The Uber and Bolt apps also offer the convenience of booking a taxi door to door, ensuring convenient access to the parks, making them ideal for guests looking to explore Disneyland Paris as part of a broader travel itinerary. If you’re planning to use Uber or Bolt, make sure to set your destination to the Disney Village.
For budget-conscious travelers, options like Eklo Marne le Vallee and Residence de Parc de Val d’Europe provide affordable yet quality stays, guaranteeing a comfortable retreat after a day of magical Disney adventures.
I stayed at the Eklo Marne Le Vallee hotel in January 2022 for my first solo trip. I was looking for the cheapest hotel base for my stay, knowing I would be in the parks most of the day. The earlier closing time of the parks also meant I wouldn’t feel unsafe travelling alone back to my hotel.
While the rooms are on the smaller, more basic side, the hotel staff were excellent and the food on offer was great. The hotel is near to a bus stop but for ease I opted for Uber’s which cost about €7 each way.
While visiting with my son, I was looking for a hotel near to Disneyland Paris that offered secure parking, a kitchenette area and more space. We opted for Residence du Parc Val D’Europe. If you don’t mind stretching your legs, this option is walkable to the parks, along a scenery half hour stroll. However, as with most locations in France, bus stops and RER stations are available nearby.
I loved staying here because the receptionist was so lovely. We saw her every evening after returning from the parks and she always asked about our day. She was also incredibly knowledgeable about the local area and provided some great suggestions of other local attractions.
But my favourite offsite hotel today has been the Moxy at Val D’Europe. A branch of Marriott, the Moxy offers style, comfort and a dash of luxury with a budget friendly price.
It has an RER station right outside which takes 3 minutes to arrive at Disneyland Paris, and is the perfect hotel for solo travellers or couples. I visited just after opening and the experience was exceptional.
With all these budget friendly options available near to Disneyland Paris however, it’s crucial to note that choosing booking may come with compromises. While guests may pay less for their hotel stay, they might end up paying more for park tickets due to potential discounts offered by on-site hotels.
Additionally, the accommodation may be further away from the parks, requiring more time for transportation. There are several regions around Disneyland Paris that have similar branded hotels, so it’s essential to check build in maps on booking pages before handing over your credit card details.
Booking a hotel at Noisy for example instead of Serris could lead to longer travel to and from the hotel and negate any savings you made.
It’s a trade-off that guests need to consider — sacrificing some convenience and proximity for a more budget-friendly stay.
These types of accommodations are especially suitable for guests who view Disneyland Paris as a part of their overall travel experience rather than the sole focus, allowing them to strike a balance between exploring the magic and embracing the richness of the surrounding region.
The key lies in making an informed choice that aligns with individual preferences, ensuring a well-rounded and memorable stay near the heart of the Disney enchantment.
