Disney Enchanted Christmas Comes to World of Frozen for the First Time

The magic of Disney Enchanted Christmas will extend to World of Frozen for the first time this year, with the kingdom of Arendelle celebrating its first festive season since opening at Disney Adventure World.
Disneyland Paris has confirmed its Christmas programme, which will run from November 7th, 2026, to January 6th, 2027. The season will be celebrated across both parks, with World of Frozen joining Disneyland Park’s traditional offering for the first time.

World of Frozen celebrates its first Christmas
Just months after opening, World of Frozen will mark the season with an atmosphere inspired by Scandinavian Christmas traditions, with Nordic decorations and new musical celebrations throughout the kingdom of Arendelle.
Queens Anna and Elsa, joined by Olaf, will welcome guests into a winter setting finished with Christmas ornaments inspired by traditional Nordic craftsmanship. A Christmas tree will light up the entrance to the land, which opened earlier in 2026, and the surrounding landscapes will be decorated throughout to really embrace the World of Frozen Christmas spirit.
At the foot of North Mountain, the day’s celebrations centre on two musical moments.
The Arendelle carolers, an approximately fifteen-minute interlude led by Olaf alongside a Christmas carol choir, will run several times a day before Anna and Elsa arrive to close the moment, with songs from Olaf’s Frozen Adventure accompanying snow falling across Arendelle village.
At Arendelle Bay, Anna and Elsa, in new winter outfits, will present Ring in the season with Anna and Elsa, a seven-minute celebration also running several times a day, including in the late afternoon.
Kristoff will also make his first appearance in the village, joining Oaken and Mossie to meet guests. Disney notes that it can’t guarantee the presence of any particular character, so the app is the place to check who’s appearing on the day.
For those looking to dine in the land, offering inspired by the flavours of the Far North will run through the season, alongside an exclusive collection of new merchandise at Arendelle Boutique.
Santa Claus move to Main Street U.S.A
In the Disneyland Park, Santa’s meet and greet moves this year, from its traditional home at Videopolis in Discoveryland to a new location inside Disney Clothiers on Main Street, U.S.A.
It’s a small change on paper and a significant one in practice, because it puts Santa at the heart of Disneyland Paris’s Christmas decorations rather than off to one side.
Visitors who’ve made the trip to Videopolis in previous years will find a different route this time, and it puts him within easy reach of the Main Street entertainment.
What’s Returning for Disney Enchanted Christmas 2026
The Disneyland Paris Christmas programme continues largely unchanged, with decorated Main Street, U.S.A. and the 24-metre Christmas tree returning as the centrepiece.
Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade
Mickey’s Dazzling Christmas Parade returns, bringing together Mickey and Friends, Disney Princesses, and Santa Claus, with floats lit by thousands of lights twice a day. The parade won the IAAPA Brass Ring Award for Most Creative Christmas Show in 2022, and it remains the season’s headline entertainment.
Mrs. Claus at Disneyland Paris
Minnie Mouse and Mrs. Claus will appear at Castle Stage in a new musical celebration featuring original Christmas songs, running from November 14th.
At Videopolis Theatre, Let’s Sing Christmas! returns with Mickey, Minnie, and friends, giving guests the chance to sing along to classics including “Little Santa Claus” and “Jingle Bells”.
Throughout the park, a variety of festive character will also be available to meet, including Stitch at Videopolis and Jack Skellington at Critter Corral (near the Lion King theatre in Frontierland), though as with Santa Claus himself a virtual queue is likely.
Elsewhere in the Disneyland Park this Christmas, the Disney Princesses Holiday Season Celebration is likely to return. This magical waltz performed at the foot of Sleeping Beauty Castle in Central Plaza was a popular experience last year with guests enjoy the daily performance.

New Year’s Eve extends to Disney Adventure World
On December 31st, each park will host its own New Year’s Eve party, included in the price of admission rather than ticketed separately.
The two are set to be genuinely different nights, so which park you choose matters more than on any other date in the season. At Disney Adventure World, celebrations run across the park’s worlds, ending with a drones and fireworks show above World of Frozen themed around Frozen and the park’s other worlds. The drones are weather-dependent, so that element isn’t guaranteed.
At Disneyland Park, the night leans on the traditional offering, with DJ parties hosted by Disney Characters leading into a fireworks display above Sleeping Beauty Castle at midnight.
Both parties are likely to be among the busiest nights of the season, and current information doesn’t yet confirm times, capacity, or whether either requires a dedicated reservation. If you’re planning around December 31st, that’s the date to watch for updates.
A season of two parks, for the first time
For years, Disney Enchanted Christmas has meant Disneyland Park. This is the first season where that’s no longer quite true.
World of Frozen’s first Christmas gives the resort a second centre of gravity for the holidays, and it’s the clearest sign yet of what Disney Adventure World is for now that it’s been rebranded and reopened. Whether it changes how people plan their Christmas trips, or whether it stays a secondary stop on the way to the castle, is the question the season will answer.
